Buried them. Went to train. The Here Lie My Excuses tee from Conquering Barbell features a raven perched on a blank headstone over a fresh grave, with a loaded bar laid across the dirt, a pair of lifting shoes and a belt left at the foot, a shovel stuck in the mound, and a crescent moon behind a dead tree. HERE LIE MY EXCUSES arches overhead in cream blackletter with a rust shadow, with ESTD 2014, CONQUERING BARBELL, and CONQUER THE WEIGHTS below. Printed large across the front for lifters who ran out of reasons a long time ago.

Made on a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend for the right balance of softness and structure. Pre-shrunk and lightweight so it holds up through hard training and looks sharp long after the session is over.

I’m Audie. I compete in powerlifting, and I’ve run Conquering Barbell out of Tennessee since 2013. I design it, print it and ship it. Every shirt is printed in-house after you order. No print farm, no middlemen. If something’s wrong with your order, you’re emailing the guy who made it.
