Died Trying - Relaxed Fit Tee

Failed the rep. Never racked it. The Died Trying relaxed fit tee from Conquering Barbell features a skeleton in high-tops still gripping a loaded bar pinned to his chest on the bench, while the Grim Reaper stands behind the rack with arms crossed and scythe in hand, the worst spotter in the gym. DIED TRYING arches overhead in gold-shadowed blackletter, with a chalk bucket at his feet and ESTD 2014, CONQUERING BARBELL, and CONQUER THE WEIGHTS below. Printed large across the front for lifters who would rather get buried by the bar than skip the attempt.

Made on a garment-dyed heavyweight cotton tee for a broken-in feel straight out of the bag. The relaxed fit, lived-in texture, and vintage wash make it a go-to for heavy sessions, rest days, and everything between.

  • 100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed for a soft, worn-in feel
  • Heavyweight construction with a relaxed, oversized fit
  • Garment dye process creates a unique vintage texture on every shirt
  • Large full-color front graphic with premium print quality
  • Classic unisex crew neck and short-sleeve cut
  • Printed to order in-house in Tennessee
  • Available in Black

Every order is printed after you place it. Tees, tanks and hoodies ship in 7–10 business days (after the payment clears). Flags ship in 10–14 business days (after the payment clears). Weekends and holidays don’t count.

Priority Mail shows at checkout when your order’s weight qualifies. It speeds up delivery, not printing.

To prolong the lifespan of your Conquering Barbell apparel we recommend the following care process.

  • Launder/wash cold with like colors
  • Wash inside out
  • Tumble dry low, or hang dry
  • If desired, steaming can be utilized to remove wrinkles; do not iron.

In their words

  • “Fits the big boys.”

Really comfortable shirt for the big boys. I got the 3XL (I currently weight 305lbs standing at 6'1") and it fits perfectly. A little breathing room so on and so forth and it hangs lower than your normal tee. If you're about my size and want a tighter fit I would recommend the 2XL. Definitely recommend Conquering Barbell and will be back to purchase more.

  • “Exceeded Expectations!”

Just received my order (3 flags & 2 tee shirts) & was genuinely surprised at how good the quality is. The flags themselves feel high quality, the black background is dark and the material feels substantial. The image on the flags is vivid & sharp with no “bleed over” at the edges of the image. The tee shirts again feel substantial. The images are sharp and vivid with a thickness to them that feels like the print will last. I ordered size L in the oversized tee’s and wasn’t sure how over sized they would be. I was pleasantly surprised that for my build they actually fit comfortably snug in the chest / back / arms & trim in the waist. (For context 5’9, 195)

All in all, the quality exceeded what I was expecting & I will absolutely be ordering again soon. . Also & important to me, Audie (the owner) was extremely responsive in answering my emails even at evening hours. Great purchase for me.

One-man operation

Designed, printed and packed by a lifter.

I’m Audie. I compete in powerlifting, and I’ve run Conquering Barbell out of Tennessee since 2013. I design it, print it and ship it. Every shirt is printed in-house after you order. No print farm, no middlemen. If something’s wrong with your order, you’re emailing the guy who made it.

The bar bends. You don’t.
